THINKING OF VISITING?

HellO

Whether you’ve been around church for years, never stepped into one before, or are just exploring faith… we’d love to meet you.

At One Church, you’ll always find a relaxed atmosphere, a warm welcome, and real people who genuinely care.

It’s always great to know people by name and help make your first visit feel easy and comfortable.

So if you’re thinking of popping round for a nosey, let us know, we’d love to welcome you properly.

See you soon.

WHAT YOU REALLY WANT to ask?

  • What’s it actually like?

    Relaxed, friendly and genuine.

We’re not big on pretending. You’ll find real people, heartfelt worship, plenty of chatting, probably some laughter… and definitely tea and coffee somewhere nearby.

  • Am I going to get awkwardly singled out?

    Definitely not.

We won’t make you stand up, wave at everyone or wear a sticker! You can join in as much or as little as you feel comfortable with while you settle in and get a feel for things.

  • What about my kids?

We love having families with us.

Our Children’s Church is fun, safe, creative and a little bit messy at times! Your kids will be welcomed and looked after by a brilliant team while you enjoy the service.

  • What should I wear?

    Whatever you feel comfortable in.

Some people turn up in jeans and hoodies, others look a bit smarter nobody’s bothered.

    Just come as you are.

WHAT to Expect on SUNDAY?

just ordinary people…

Before the service, you’ll usually find people chatting, grabbing a free brew, helping with kids, catching up from the week or introducing themselves to someone new.

We’re a church that genuinely enjoys being together.

Our worship is heartfelt and real. We love creating space for people to encounter God whether that’s through singing, prayer, reflection or simply taking a moment to breathe in a busy week.

There’s never pressure to perform or pretend.

The message will always be rooted in the Bible but taught in a real and down-to-earth way that connects with everyday life. Expect honesty, humour, encouragement and practical teaching that points people towards Jesus.

And afterwards? Most people stay around for tea, coffee, biscuits and conversation. Some of the best moments happen after the service has finished.

We’re not a perfect church and we don’t pretend to be.

Just ordinary people from all walks of life learning to follow Jesus together and helping each other along the way.
